Classic Mustang Interior Restoration

The interior is where you spend every drive. We restore it to correct factory spec or build a custom cabin, with seats, carpet, dash, gauges, and trim that fit right and feel right.

Typical range $6k – $25k Start Your Build

The part of the car you live with

You spend every drive inside the car, not looking at it from the curb. A great interior is what turns a restored Mustang into one you actually want to drive: seats that hold you right, gauges that work, trim that fits, and a cabin that feels finished instead of pieced together.

Correct, or custom

If you want a period-correct car, we return the interior to factory spec: correct-pattern upholstery, the right carpet and door panels, a proper dash pad, and trim with the correct grain and stitching for your year and trim level. Shows and appraisals reward getting these details right.

If you want more, we build a custom cabin around how you use the car, with upgraded materials, better sound, and air conditioning integrated cleanly. Restomod or resto, the interior should match the level of the rest of the build.

Fitted, not just installed

Anyone can drop in a seat cover. We fit the interior, so panels sit flush, the headliner is tight, the glass and weatherstrip seal, and the gauges and switches all work. That is the difference between an interior that looks restored in photos and one that feels restored every time you get in.

Classic Mustang Interior Restoration: your questions

How much does a classic Mustang interior restoration cost?

A correct interior restoration usually runs $6,000 to $15,000 for seats, carpet, panels, and a dash pad. Custom interiors with upgraded materials, sound, and air conditioning integration can reach $25,000 or more. The number depends on how correct or how custom you want it.

Can you match the original interior for my year and trim?

Yes. Correct-pattern upholstery, door panels, carpet, and trim are available for nearly every year and trim level of the classic Mustang. We can return your interior to exactly how it left the factory, right down to the correct grain and stitching, or take it in a custom direction if you prefer.

Do you fix gauges and wiring too?

We do. A restored interior that looks perfect but has dead gauges and flaky wiring is only half done. We restore or replace the instrument cluster, sort the wiring, and make sure everything you touch works, because the interior is the part of the car you actually live with.
